Hello! My name is Julia, and I am a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience supporting students in reading, writing, and overall academic growth. I currently work as a literacy interventionist. I hold a strong background in literacy instruction, including training in research based programs. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and creating a positive learning environment, where students feel safe to take risks and grow. I focus on building both skills and confidence, ensuring that students not only make academic progress, but also feel successful and motivated along the way. I am available for one on one or small group tutoring in reading, writing, study skills, and general homework support for elementary through middle school students.
