About Julian

Hi, I'm Julian! I'm a freshman at Tufts University, and I have a lot of experience in both pet and child care. During high school, I volunteered at Deerfield Elementary, helping staff supervise the after-school program, where we played with, mentored, and looked after 15-30 kids from kindergarten to 6th grade. I also volunteered with an online tutoring non-profit called "Learn To Be," where I spent about two months last summer tutoring an8-year-old boy from China in reading and writing. For paid experience, I've babysat for family friends and worked as a camp counselor at two sleepaway camps. Most recently, I worked at Camp Laurel in Maine, where I cared for a cabin of 137-year-old boys. I also worked at KIPP Stepp in Deerfield, MA, supervising about 20 seventh-grade boys, staying with them in dorms, taking them to classes, and leading activities. I've also been around younger kids my whole life as the second oldest in my family, so I'm pretty used to them! Thank you!
