I have been caring for children since I was in middle school, working as a babysitter in the neighborhood I grew up. One of the greatest joys I've found in babysitting is staying in touch with these families and watching the kids go from toddlers to high school and college students! During college, I spent a semester in Reggio Emilia working at a Reggio-approach daycare, which had a significant impact on my view of child development and how to work with children. After graduating with a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from GWU in 2021, I have been working at a pediatric, play and movement-based out patient practice. My husband and I were just married this past April, and I've now officially got a small sports team worth of 11 nieces and nephews! We will be moving to the Richmond area at the end of February, and while I will continue to work as an SLP I would love to do some babysitting work when possible.

Juliana cared for our two girls, 2 and 5, for 2 weeks every day after school. She was great with them, gave them lots of attention and came up with creative activities to keep them occupied. She picked them up from school and walked them safely home and was diligent about COVID protocols. We ended up getting an Au pair or we would've continued to have her take care of our little ones. The girls still talk about her and proudly show us the crafts they did together.
