About Juliana

Hi! My name is Juliana, and I have 6+ years of experience tutoring students from kindergarten through college. I specialize in Math, Science, English, Spanish, and test prep for the SSAT and SAT. I also mentor high school students through the college application process, guiding essays, resumes, and application strategy. My approach is patient and flexible-I adapt lessons to each student's learning style while teaching study skills and test-taking strategies that build confidence beyond the classroom. I graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University with a degree in Neuroscience & Behavior and a minor in Spanish & Latin American Cultures. Alongside tutoring, I've worked as a peer mentor, after-school enrichment teacher, and volunteer in hospitals and community programs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, support students from diverse backgrounds, and make learning engaging.
