Hi there! I am a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in memory-sensitive long term care. While in nursing school, I worked as a patient care aide assisting geriatric dementia residents in a memory care assisted living. It didn't take long for this population to become my passion. When I graduated with my bachelor's degree in nursing, I transitioned to a RN role at the assisted living before moving to a chronic care hospital - still on a memory care floor - where I currently work. It has been such a privilege to work with this vulnerable population and their families. The elders deserve maintained respect and dignity as their dementia progresses.
