About Julia

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, organized, patient, and compassionate. I have been babysitting and tutoring for 9 years consistently. For 3 years, I worked as a part-time caregiver for a 9-year-old with cerebral palsy, as well as her younger brother. I nannied one infant from 4-11 months old with multiple severe allergies assisting with establishing a nap routine, introducing solids and allergens, and developmental play. I have experience with children from birth through 15 years old. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am a Registered Nurse in the states of WA and CA. I am currently working as a pediatric nurse full-time and only available for one night or occasional babysitting jobs. In my spare time, I like to knit, read, exercise, and bake. My skills include medically complex childcare (feeding tubes, central lines, respiratory therapy, mobility help, non-verbal child, allergies), meal preparation, and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities.
