Hello! My name is Julia, but kids call me JuJu. I started working with children when I was 16 years old (2016) as a babysitter, and I worked as a nanny from 2013 to 2016. I took a break from 2016 to 2020 to explore other careers, but in 2021 I began working in a childcare center and realized that working with children is truly my calling. I am teacher qualified for children ages 0-3 and am currently working toward becoming teacher qualified for ages 3-5 (Step 7 in the Oregon Registry) through a cohort at my local community college. I feel that my purpose in life is to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. I absolutely adore working with children. I'm nurturing, creative, and patient. I can quickly come up with activities, help children work through their emotions, and turn everyday moments into learning experiences.
