About Julia

Throughout high school, I volunteered at a softball camp for girls between the ages of 5-15. This including bringing them to and from the practice facility as well as making sure they were safe at all times. I have a great deal of experience playing games and entertaining children in this age group. At the University of Connecticut, I participated in the Huskython dance marathon for three years. My junior and senior year duties were to care for children aged 8 and 9 for the evening. Again, this included playing games and entertaining them as well as ensuring their safety. I have cared for a 10-year-old and an 8-year-old with my older sister when the parents would leave town for business. This including making them meals, bringing them to and from school, aiding with homework and bringing them to extracurricular activities. Lastly, my current CPR certification has just expired but I plan to take another course as soon as possible. I completed a babysitting course in North Branford, CT as well as four CPR courses through my high school years.
