I've been a health care aide and patient care coordinator for the elderly and special needs clients for 10-plus years. My services include companionship, healthy meal prep, medication supervision, personal care, food shopping and errands, light housekeeping, medical appointments, assistance with physical therapy and transportation. I highly recommend Julie as a caregiver and companion. For the past two-plus years, Julie took care of my wife who was partially bedridden and a fall risk. Julie did this with energy, compassion and insight, providing me with much needed respite from the 24 hour care my wife needed. She accompanied my wife to medical appointments, assisted me with managing her prescriptions, and, despite my wife's reluctance, managed to keep her involved in her physical therapy exercises. Throughout, Julie was responsible, cheerful and medically astute. These qualities were all the more important because of Covid. Throughout Julie was careful and conscientious about protecting my family and herself from exposure. My daughters and I will always be grateful for her loyalty and help.

I highly recommend Julie.  She was an incredible care giver for my mother who recently passed away because of her long term illness.   Julie is a caring, positive and trustworthy caregiver.  One of my favorite things about Julie is her optimism.  She always came into my mothers home with a positive attitude, ready to care for her personal needs and offered constant encouragement during times of challenges.   Julie was very good at working with physical limitations of the clients and often thought of new ways to overcome such limitations. My husband and I are delighted to recommend Julie to you as a home care provider. For the last eight months, Julie has helped us maintain our household and well being. She performed light housekeeping tasks, served delicious and nutritious meals, as well as shared her substantial knowledge about healthy living with us. She was eager to help us with any project -- laundry, ironing, shopping, reorganizing closets and cabinets, as well as with the inevitable, unexpected household 'emergencies' -- including internet and computer issues. 

Julie also helped us with entertaining. She prepared and served lovely meals to our friends and family -- sharing our pleasure in planning menus, serving and welcoming our guests. As we head off to our annual visit to Florida, we will miss her warmth, professionalism and wonderful cooking. She is a rare find in household care.

Julie is my sister. She provided weekend respite care for our mother who was in her 90's. Julie is very patient and has a great sense of humor . Both qualities were seriously tested as my my mother was very stubborn and had a mind of her own.
     Julie's weekend care provided me with time for my self.  She provide companionship, took her to church and on other outings. She did light errands, meal preparation (She's a great cook) and took her to some medical appointments.
     Mother always returned more relaxed and happier.

Julie was a very caring  and thoughtful person. My wife enjoyed her time with Julie. I was able to do things with out  concern for my wife's safety and happiness. She did comment that Julie was a very good driver.

Julie served as a caregiver for my father 2009/2010 when he was still living alone in his home.  She gave him her full compassionate attention and did all the usual caregiver's duties - meals, med monitoring, light housekeeping, errands, socializing, etc. As there were others who came during the week she was tuned in to their notes/observations and likewise offered valuable input.  

Julie had a special skill which she incorporated into her time with my father.  She is a documentary film maker.  He, on the other hand had been a photographer, serving in that capacity in WWII.  Toward the end of his time at home, she videotaped him looking through his old photo albums and commenting on them, telling his stories, both of family and of war time.  She gave our family the resulting DVD which we treasure!  

Elder care is not only a talent with Julie, but a great love and I highly recommend her.

Julie did respite care for my 96 year old mother - so that my husband and 
I could go away 3-5 days at a time.  She did dinners and breakfasts, gave her meds, stayed overnight in my house in case my mom called and needed something. My mom lives on her own in an apartment down the driveway from our house. Julie is reliable, friendly and likes conversing with elderly people who don't have a good memory.
