About Julie

I'd describe my personality as extremely caring, patient, and understanding. I like caring for seniors because I feel like they are such a wealth of untapped knowledge and experience. I learn so much by talking to our older generations as they've seen so many things that I haven't. I don't like when our senior population is ignored or overlooked. I'm looking for a job that it's not just a job; it's a calling. I was born to take care of others. I started caring for seniors when I was a candystriper (volunteer) in my local hospital while I attended school. I loved seeing the joy on faces when I delivered their paper or flowers. In my spare time, I like to garden, spend time with my family, and stay active in church. My skills include memory care, activity certification in long term care, and art.
