About Juliet

Hello! My name is Juliet and I am a third-year Criminal Justice major at California State University, Sacramento. I am 20 years old and have 8 years of experience with children. I am a certified lifeguard, I am CPR/AED certified, and I have professionally worked with kids for years. When I was 15, I worked in my mom's kindergarten classroom in an assistant role. When I was 16, I began teaching swim lessons to kids anywhere from age 2-12, and I have done this every summer for 4 years now. This past year, I also became a certified lifeguard. For the last 3 years, I have worked at the Sacramento State University Police Department as a Community Service Officer during the school year, and while this doesn't directly correlate to childcare, I have been put in situations where I have to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. I have strengthened my communication and leadership, and I carry responsibilities while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
