About Julie

Aloha! I am 34 years old, and I have had many years working with children providing fun, safe, encouraging, and creative environments. I am CPR Certified, and have to take many different certifications through Red Cross for my childcare jobs, as well as an online child development class. I baby sat for years as a teenager, and then in 2014 I ended up taking up nannying for the next 5 years, between 3 families with kids ranging from 4 months- 8 years old. I also have taught multiple summer camps with kids ranging from ages 6-18. While I still lived in Indiana, I was a preschool teaching assistant with all of the ages that we had in our school, and I also ran a face painting/balloon twisting company. I have lots of ideas of games and crafts for all ages, and I encourage playing games, reading, and making art before any screen time (although a Disney movie or show to calm down to every once in a while is nice!) I keep calm and I am encouraging and attentive to the kids that I am with.
