I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. For seven years, I've helped students thrive by building their confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. My experience is working with grades 4-8 primarily with math (both standard and advanced), science and reading. I hold a graduate degree and tailor my approach by actively listening to students and using various teaching strategies, including visual aids and hands-on activities. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key; I provide regular updates to parents, building a collaborative environment. The most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student truly understands a concept and their confidence soars. I have current CPR and First Aid certifications.
