I'd describe my personality as warm, positive, and supportive. I like tutoring because helping students feel confident and grow is meaningful to me, and it's also why I love working in an elementary school. I started tutoring when I began working at an elementary school and realized how much students benefit from individual support. I've taught all four of my children through elementary school--including most of their pre-algebra--and all of them were in an advanced program. I'm currently working at an elementary school where I support students who need extra help in math and English. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, and exploring new places. One thing families should know about me is that I genuinely care about kids and always do my best to support their growth. My top tutoring skills include patience, clear explanations, and building strong connections with students.
