I have a background in psych nursing for 4 years and 1/2 a year experience in critical care nursing and I wanted to get more experience with Home health care with the geriatric population. I have 4 years experience with being a registered nurse and before that, I did care for an elderly women while she was in hospice. I plan on exploring different fields in nursing but wanted to get some real hands on experience with the elderly patients before heading into gero-psych nursing. Examples of services I provide would be: grocery shopping, light house work, hygiene/grooming care, medication administration, wound care, respite care, bls(CPR certified), pressure ulcer prevention, diaper changing, and lastly but not least, company/companion care. Hopefully, these services are what you require and I hope we can find the right fit.
