My favorite part of being a teacher is the moment when you watch a student finally understand a topic. When everything just clicks for them! The smile that lights up their face because they got it! As a teacher, it just does my heart so much good! That is why I enjoy tutoring. Working with kids who may be struggling with a subject and seeing them grow! Watching them turn the corner and take off! I've been working with kids on homework or classwork for several years through subbing as well as a local daycare center. I also had the privilege to tutor an elementary student who was having difficulties with her reading/spelling. After working with her weekly for several months, and then biweekly over the summer, she has just flourished! It was so great hearing the reports from her mom on how much more confident she was! I would love to help your kids gain that confidence and grow to their full potential!
