About Kadie

Hello, my name is Kadie and I am a certified and licensed elementary school teacher. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a double major in elementary education and elementary mathematics. I was a classroom teacher for 5 years, a tutor for 3, but have 12 total years of experience in education. I have taught/ worked with kindergarten through 8th grade and love them all! I have had tons of success with helping students of all ability levels grow in their academic abilities and gain confidence in themselves and their school work. I specialize in tutoring reading and math and have extensive training and experience in both. I am able to create my own lessons to directly meet the needs of each individual student and the skills that will help them to succeed. I am also available for homework help and able to tutor with provided materials from a school or homeschool group to reinforce and supplement what is already being taught.
