About Kaitlyn

I have always had a heart for the elderly. When I was in middle school I used to bake goodies to bring to the local nursing home, in high school, I made holiday visits to an assisted living place dressed as an elf to hand out hand made cards and candy canes. I was a registered Home Health Aide for Help at Home from January 2017-January 2018. I was also a respite caregiver during this time. With this being said, my favorite part of my job was spending quality time with my clients doing their day to day tasks. I love learning their stories and personalities, and find it helps to ask the seniors about favorite memories as it helps keep their mind sharp. I enjoy learning about new skills and hobbies my clients enjoy and will do pretty much anything to bring a smile to their face. I feel that I am able to bring them a positive outlook, a shoulder to cry on when needed, good conversation, a friendship, and reliable support. Caring for people is my passion.
