About Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn (or Kiki, the name she goes by with little ones) has been our part-time nanny for 2 years, since my son was 5 months old. In the two years she has been with us, she has shown tremendous love and commitment to my son, and to us, his parents. When we hired her, we soon found out she was particularly adept with infants. My son had a milk-protein allergy when he was little and was incredibly fussy. Kiki was always patient and flexible with him, and was able to soothe him enough to eat or sleep. When the time came, we decided to sleep train him using gentle methods from Precious Little Sleep. Kiki was instrumental in implementing and maintaining the consistency required for that process. Kiki also put great care into working on his physical and mental development. Every wake window, she made sure to do tummy time with him, or work on standing, or walking (depending on his developmental stage). Books, singing, and conversational interaction were also a big part of his ‘curriculum,’ which has paid off tremendously in his verbal linguistic development thus far. We will miss Kiki tremendously! She has become a part of our family. Any future family would be wise to hire her!
