About Kalayah

Hello! My name is Kalayah, and I'm a 20-year-old college student with four years of childcare experience. I've worked as a floater teacher at a Montessori school, supporting children of different ages and learning styles. Being the oldest of three siblings also taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a warm, calm environment for kids. I love helping children learn through play, creativity, and structure. I'm reliable, gentle, and very hands-on-whether that's helping with homework, prepping meals, sticking to routines, or keeping little ones engaged throughout the day. Outside of childcare, I enjoy reading, writing, and creative projects, but my priority when I'm with children is making sure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
