About Kalyann

Hi, I'm Kalyann! I've worked with kids for about two years at this point. I started by volunteering at 4-H camp with my hometown county in Northern Kentucky, then I moved onto getting a position as a Program Staff Member for two summers. During my time at camp, I worked with thousands of kids, teaching team building skills, helping build self confidence, and giving them the space and encouragement to break out of their shell. After gaining my Bachelors in public health, I began working at the Lexington Children's Museum as their Play & Learning Educator where I organized camps and field trips. I also have tried and taught multiple STEAM lessons that provide me with an educational background in various topics. Through my experiences, I have learned how important it is to teach and learn healthy and happy habits from and to children!
