About Kamala

We are delighted to recommend Kamala T. who worked with our family for 10 months from April 2025 through January 2026. During this time, she provided full-time care for our son M., starting when he was under a year old. Before Kamala joined us, we had tried two other nannies. She was the first one who gave us the level of support and trust we truly needed. From day one, Kamala proved herself to be responsible, professional, punctual, and trustworthy. We never once worried about our son's safety in her care. Kamala is a true self-starter who always finds ways to be helpful. Beyond her excellent care of M. – which included meal preparation, daily walks to the park and the junior zoo, and creative play at home – she also took initiative with household tasks like light tidying, laundry, and grocery shopping. She is remarkably efficient and never sits idle. Kamala has a natural way of connecting with children. M loved spending time with her and playing different games. She would sing him songs and was always attentive, finding ways to help him grow and learn new things – but always in a fun way. What impressed us most was how she went above typical expectations. Knowing that we wanted M to learn our native language, Kamala took it upon herself to learn words from it quickly and began teaching them to M. She's a fast learner who genuinely cares about doing what's best for the child. M adored her and gave her his own special name – "Kappa" – which he would call her when she arrived. Kamala also traveled with us on family trips to Lake Tahoe and Lassen National Park, making those experiences a joyful and significantly less stressful. She was always flexible with last-minute schedule changes and always listened to feedback, adjusting her approach whenever needed. We are parting ways because we want M to keep the language of our family before he starts learning the community language. This is only possible if we have a fully native-speaking nanny for the next two years. We wholeheartedly recommend Kamala. She would be a wonderful addition to any family.
