About Kankou

I have been a caregiver for 20 years. I have worked for agencies. My specialty is senior care but I also have experience with childcare and developmentally disabled adults. For the last 8 years I have been a private caregiver for families. In 2017 I began working for a local family. I cared for a couple in their 90s for 8 hours a day until the husband passed away in 2018. I then moved into their home and became a 24-hour live-in caregiver for the wife (who had dementia) until she passed in 2020. Their daughter was my employer. Skills: cooking, feeding, bathing, light housekeeping, and running errands. I have my own car. I am not currently CPR/first-aide certified but have been through the trainings many times throughout my career. I am looking for a full-time role.
