About Kara

I've always had a passion for children's learning and development. This led me to providing care for serval families throughout my college and high school years. I have spent the last year working at Primrose School as a Young Toddler teacher, which has allowed me to expand my training and gain experience in a childcare facility setting. Through my 5 years of experience, I've learned that my favorite thing is to see a child learn and explore through their play. I'm an imaginative person who can make anything into a game. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules as guided by the parents. I have completed some college coursework, including Child Psychology and Child Development courses, and hold current certifications in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I can assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and travel if needed
