I am an ICU nurse for over 30 years and work part time home health on my days off.  I have shared more than one patient with Kara in my home health job and have been impressed time and time again by her care and professionalism.  Kara and I shared an elderly couple that presented several challenges as the husband began to deteriorate leaving wife with chronic health needs much different than him. Kara always acted unprofessional manner and advocated for both these patients as their needs continued to change.  Kara always kept the best interest and safety of the patients first and foremost. She did a birthday party for my mom. She would take my mom outside when weather was nice and make her go to activities, even when she did not feel up to it!
