About Kara

I'm a patient, compassionate and physically active massage therapist/yoga instructor/event organizer seeking part time work. My schedule varies weekly but I am open to ongoing positions if the days/times are compatible. I am an animal lover and have had pets in my childhood and adult life. Since my canine soul mate passed a few years ago I have chosen not to have any more pets of my own. I have done pet sitting for friends and cared for farm animals on a few occasions. I have experience with caring for high maintenance and sick pets including administering supplements, medication and fluids. I am a vegetarian and do not like to handle raw meat with my bare hands. It's fine if it's already prepared where I can handle it with utensils.
