About Karena

I have been working as a childcare provider for 10 years now, with the past 5-6 years being a nanny. I truly love working with children and I find the experience to be very rewarding. I have worked with children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age, primarily with the 6 weeks to 12 months age group. I have changed diapers, bottle-fed infants as well as offered baby food to those infants who had reached that stage, and helped infants learn to roll, sit up, crawl, stand, and walk. I have helped older children learn basic shapes and colors, the alphabet, and counting to 10, all with a center provided curriculum. Of course, I always enjoy playing games, singing songs, reading stories, and finding other fun ways to interact with children. I like to keep organized and would be willing to provide some light house cleaning while caring for your child or children.
