I provided two years of Home Healthcare in my home for my mother who had Dementia. I gained experience de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion. I assisted with errands and commutes to doctor appointments and meal preparation. I maintained a clean, safe, and organized living environment ensuring her comfort and well-being. Given the opportunity to care for non family members, I would provide them with the same compassionate, respectful care that would allow them to feel safe, supported, and valued in their own home/living facility. I find purpose in helping others maintain their independence and dignity while offering dependable care, patience, and emotional support. while making a real difference in their daily lives.
