Hello. My name is Karen, the good kind! I am a trustworthy and responsible child & adult caregiver, as well as a caregiver of pets. I am CPR and First Aide Certified for infants through adults, as well as for animals, particularly cats and dogs. I hold a dual Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science Technology and Hospital Management. Besides my 30 plus year career being a Certified Veterinary Technologist (Animal Nurse), I have also enjoyed being a "Big Sister" in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, an academic tutor for elementary aged children through adults, as well as a nanny. I am dependable, detail oriented, determined, empathetic, altruistic, loving, compassionate, and have been told I have a good sense of humor, laughing at myself without hesitation. I also sincerely believe if you can be anything in this world, be kind! I am currently in search of a full time child care position. And if cats and/or dogs are part of my work environment, that would be an added benefit.
