About Karen

I have been caring for children since I was a teenager. I married young and babysat children several evenings a week along with my full-time administrative job. Several years later my husband and I started our own family and I became a full-time homemaker. I believe there is nothing more valuable and rewarding than teaching the heart of a child. My four children are now grown and I am looking to help support other young families. I believe one of my greatest strengths I can offer to your child/children is patience. My parenting style always has been one of clear communication and positive affirmation. I believe these combinations create many teachable moments and help develop strong hallmarks in a child's character.
