Hi, I'm Karen, and I have over 25 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. I'm skilled at finding creative, practical ways to help each person be as independent as possible while providing the right balance of support. I'm especially gifted in supporting people with hearing loss or limited verbal communication, using patience, intuition, and creativity to understand and respond to their needs. My goal is to build a trusting relationship that helps each person express themselves, engage with the world, and live with confidence and joy. Families appreciate my patience, kindness, and commitment to their loved one's dignity and confidence. I'm currently seeking a private care position in the Milwaukee area.
