About Karen

I am a K-6 Florida certified teacher. For the past four years I have worked as a reading intervention teacher in OCPS schools. I have over 100 hours of specialized training in research-based reading instruction, as well as Orton Gillingham Classroom Educator Level certification. I have been successful helping students who were behind in reading due to absences, ADHD, dyslexia, and other issues. Success in reading supports success in all other subject areas. Don't let your child suffer the consequences of inadequate reading skills. Typically when students fall behind, they will continue to fall further behind as they reach higher grade levels and are faced with increasingly difficult reading passages. I would love to help your child achieve reading fluency and set the stage for academic success!
