About Karissa

Making a difference in the lives of adults and seniors is my passion. With two years of experience as a caregiver, I am currently pursuing my certification as a CNA to better serve the geriatric community. I provide hospice services, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medication reminders, and mobility assistance. My chemistry degree complements my hands-on experience by helping me understand medications, bodily systems, and how to approach care thoughtfully and safely. I am patient, compassionate, professional, and detail-oriented. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with ease. I understand the importance of learning about a care recipient's preferences and history. I provide regular verbal updates and communicate via text or phone, depending on your preferred method. Supporting families by providing reliable care is important to me. I have transportation and am comfortable with pets.
