About Karissa

Hi there! I'm Karissa, and I've always loved caring for kids. I grew up helping with my younger cousins, and later I spent two years working in an orphanage in Baja California, Mexico, where I cared for children ages 0-3 in the nursery. My days often included bottle feeding newborns, burping, rocking little ones to sleep, preparing meals, and playing outside with busy toddlers. I also spent nights with the children, providing overnight care and comfort when needed. I was taught a lot of patience, flexibility, and how to create a safe, joyful environment even on the busiest days! I enjoy learning about kids' interests, playing games, and supporting them as they grow- their curiosity and joy make every day fun! I would describe myself as dependable, nurturing, and playful. I'd love to bring that same energy and care to your family. I will be out of town October 1-20.
