I have 35 years of nanny and nursing assistant experience and I am also a grandmother, aware of current care styles and methods I have Infant/Child/Adult CPR/AED/First Aid training, immunizations, a college degree, DD, special needs experience and was a home daycare owner in the 90s and have been working as an in-home care nursing assistant and nanny for the last 30 years. My nursing assistant background has been a benefit, as I notice even subtle changes from baseline health that most others may not. I able to handle emergencies, I am nurturing, empathetic, and love working with children and babies, always using positive reinforcement. I love using creative child-guidance activities to help babies reach their milestone goals, and promote early childhood learning, while having fun with sing-a-longs, dancing, stories, colors, numbers, arts and crafts, humor and fun for children of all ages. I also relate quite well to tweens and teens! I love animals also, so pet care is no charge :)

Karla took care of my son from newborn to 2yrs old and the appreciation for her goes unmatched. Not only was she extremely attentive and nurturing to him through all stages of infancy, but she always went above and beyond in teaching him all milestones and spending one on one time with him. Her extensive knowledge in childcare and nursing was such a wonderful peace of mind as a new mother. We are so grateful to have had Karla in our home and she will forever be part of our family. ❤️
