About Karlyn

I'd describe my personality as fun, joyous, loving I like tutoring because I want to help students achieve at their highest capability beyond the classroom. I am a former teacher and I know some students need extra help that they may not always receive in the classroom due to class sizes. I'm looking for a job that is as rewarding as being in the classroom is. I am hoping to find families to grow with and students who enjoy learning. School can be difficult but with the help students can thrive. I started tutoring when I did small groups as a teacher and I loved the small group learning. It made me happy watching the students grow from what we learned in small groups. In my spare time, I like to attend networking events, spend time with friends and family and read. One thing you should know about me is I am flexible and open to constructive criticism. I like to work as a team to help the child grow. My skills include reading , writing and elementary math,
