About Kat

My entire life has been padded by incredibly empowering teachers in all subjects who have opened up worlds of possibilities and allowed me to become the best student possible, and now I want to return the favor. I believe learning should be empowering and enjoyable, something students can utilize to make the world around them understandable. With three years of teaching experience, I have been able to really hone my skills and can confidently say that I am capable of teaching writing concepts to students of all starting points. I strive to understand every individual student, how they best learn, and how we can come together to progress their literacy levels and make reading and writing fun! I am about to graduate with my bachelors degree, where I am a double major in English Literature and Creative Writing. After completing my bachelors degree, I will be attending a full-time graduate program in the city and teaching compositional writing.
