About Kate

Kate was our full time nanny for one child from 5 months to 20 months. There is so much developmental change in that time and she educated herself on ways to engage our baby and help her grow. She communicated well when she noticed changes in sleep, behavior, eating etc and we worked together on style or routines so that things were consistent for our daughter. Beyond these practical things, Kate kept our daughter smiling, happy and engaged. She would do so many fun crafts, capturing keepsakes of her hand and footprints as she grew. Kate is also a tidy, well-organized person. We asked her to do tasks like flip our dishwasher and wash our daughter’s clothing; our house always felt tidy and peaceful (better than she found it!!) at the end of the day. Although our family circumstances changed to not have her on as a nanny, we continue to use Kate as our babysitter when she is available and she continues to provide great care to our now older child.
