About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate and I am a sophomore at BYU studying neuroscience. I have been tutoring consistently since my sophomore year of high school. I have worked with elementary, middle school, and high school aged students. I have also tutored for ACT preparation. I received the Sterling Scholar award for Science in Utah, earned a 4. 0 GPA throughout my schooling, and have taken and passed 11 AP courses. I am an organized, reliable, and enthusiastic tutor who truly enjoys working with students of all ages. One of my greatest strengths is creating a structured and supportive learning environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions and excited to engage with new material. I believe that learning should be fun, meaningful, and empowering, so I strive to help each student not only master the content but also develop confidence in their own abilities! My goal is to help students develop a genuine love of learning!
