About Kate
I am currently a nanny for a family in San Francisco that I've been with for 7yrs. I'm looking to leave them for a new change of direction, elder care. I have 29 yrs in this career and I'm just looking a change and would love the opportunity to work with elders who needs care and companionship! In 2019 I lost my dad to Dementia and was heartbroken. The years of grief and moving forward I realized a huge part of that grief was also not visiting his facility and all the wonderful friends he had made those few years that he was there. Getting to know other residents and their families I really enjoyed. I would like that opportunity to shift my gears of working with young children who need care, love and guidance to elders who need comfort, companionship and care.
