About Kate

I'm a speech therapist who graduated from the NYU masters program in 2018. Since then, I've worked in schools with student ages 3-19. I'm currently working for the Department of Education at a middle school with both general education students and students on the spectrum. I'm hoping to expand my work week to include weekend and evening tutoring. I've worked at reading and reading comprehension centers for several years, and I work with students on comprehension and decoding as part of my everyday job. I have experience with children of all ages, and I could help your students with K-12 ELA and History and elementary-level math and science. I have a great deal of instructional experience, a warm personality, and a lot of energy to keep up with your children! I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate, fun.
