About Katherine

Thanks for taking the time to consider me to help with your kiddos! I have taught PreK for 2 years, taught 3rd grade for 2 years, worked as a special education teaching assistant for 2 years, and nannied and babysat for over 6 years. I love working with children and am looking forward to more personal and focused opportunities outside of the classroom. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a master's degree in teaching early childhood and elementary. I have out-of-state certifications for teaching. In addition to childcare, I am happy to help with household upkeep and pet care. I am also open to tutoring and homework help! Looking forward to connecting! I like working with kids because I love seeing the world through their eyes and showing them new experiences, especially by matching their energy levels and having hands-on fun. In my spare time, I like to play piano, ukulele, and sing, play with my cat, exercise, and craft!
