About Katherine

My name is Katherine and I just moved here from Texas with my husband and our two cats! I spent the last 4 years teaching as a special education teacher! I taught students on the Autism Spectrum and with Emotional disabilities a variety of academic subjects and social skills. But moving here I decided needed a change and I am looking for babysitting, or tutoring jobs! I babysat for kids between 1-10 years old in high school. I was primarily a date night sitter and occasionally would help with after school or evening routines such as pick up, snack, homework, dinner and bedtime. I was a fulltime nanny for a 1-year-old when I was 18. I would help with meals, bottles, diapers and naptime. We went on trips to the library, pool, park, zoo, and aquarium- we had so much fun! I love working with families to help make life easier and build a bond with their children. Families I have worked for would describe me as patient and compassionate.
