About Katherine

Hello! You can call me Kathy, I am a very dedicated and passionate childcare professional, and have been since Dec 2014. I have worked as a toddler and preschool teacher as well as a nanny (newborn to elementary age), and thoroughly enjoy working closely with children and families. I have an abundance of love and compassion, with a unique ability to empathize with children in a special way. I believe in gentle discipline practices, while creating a strong bond based around mutual respect, lots of love and understanding through the development of social/ emotional skills. I also have a ton of energy, so give me all the children, pet and house management duties. I thrive in environments where the support I provide brings families great joy and comfort. I have no children by choice, so my schedule is very open and flexible, and it allows me great balance in my own life while also being apart of your village! Feel free to ask me anything!
