I am an animal lover from way back, with lots of personal and professional experience caring for all kinds of pets, including the elderly and those with special needs. I grew up with all kinds of animals -- dogs, cats, exotic birds, horses, rats... you name it! I've also worked two years as a caregiver, which has included caring for the families' pets. I know how stressful it can be leaving a beloved pet with a stranger -- worrying about everything from your pet escaping to whether they'll get the attention they need while you're away. Rest assured, I am as conscientious as a person gets! I always leave a space cleaner than I found it, and I love nothing more than to make an animal feel safe and happy. I am petite, so I am not comfortable walking very large dogs, or very strong dogs of any size that pull. I also prefer not to do live feedings of reptiles. But other than that, I am comfortable doing whatever you need -- administering medication, giving baths, etc.!
