Learning is a journey, and I'm excited to be a part of yours! With seven years of experience as a teacher and tutor, I hold a college degree and create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential, and regular updates help parents stay informed. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid certified, speak English and Spanish, have a car, and am comfortable with pets.
