About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katherine, and I am an experienced tutor of students ranging from elementary school to college. I have a background in designing lesson plans based on school curriculum and learning standards, and I am able to explain difficult topics while tailoring each tutoring session to suit your needs. As a Guided Study Sessions leader hired by my university for a traditionally challenging chemistry course, I have been trained in various techniques to enhance the learning experience. I also have a strong background in both math and English, scoring in the 99th percentile on the SAT. Through years of volunteering with the Special Olympics and working with individuals with special needs, I have developed the skills necessary to assist students of all backgrounds and abilities.
