About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as responsible, positive, and kind. I like working with kids because I care about children growing up in a safe and loving environment. I'm looking for a job that is part time because I also have a photography business. I started working with kids when I was 16 as a babysitter, and spent four years in k-12 special education as well as one year as a substitute teacher. For the last two years I have worked as a therapist and caregiver for a 9-year-old child with autism. In my spare time, I like to hike, read, and surf! One thing you should know about me is that I am very responsible, attentive, and proactive. I am a problem solver and have a deep well of patience.
