About Kathleen

Throughout my life, I have been drawn to animals and taking care of them. I have had pets in my life since I was 5 years old. My fifth birthday present was my little 8 pound poodle, Jock, who was my companion until the age of 21. Since then I have house-sat/pet-sat animals of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I currently own a 1-year-old cat, Bernie. I adopted him from a shelter at 12 weeks old and he has made our home a better place since. Bernie is an active little guy, so there is a lot of interactive playtime - fetch with foam balls, cat dancers and stalking toy mice. I love to play fetch with dogs, as well as pull toys with lots of praise and head scratches. I love to go on long walks with our 4 legged friends and check out the sights. I have worked with dogs and cats that have allergies or other precautions and made sure that all play and activity is safe and secure. An animal's lives should be filled with fun and I strive to bring that and more to my time with them!
