About Kathleen

Fuelled by a passion for children's growth and a desire to support families, I'm eager to provide exceptional childcare. As a medical student at UNC with pediatric aspirations, caring for children is my genuine calling. I have experience babysitting for family friends in previous years, caring for children full-time during a summer internship, and providing supervised medical care during my recent clinical education. My demeanor is patient, friendly, creative, joyful, and organized. I'm comfortable following your lead when it comes to household rules and communication preferences, providing regular updates via text, phone, or in person at pickup. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and outdoor games with children. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I am also happy to supervise swimming. I have training in First Aid and CPR, and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. I am currently enrolled in medical school at UNC.
